INSIGHT-ITIT Systems House Berlin

IT security is not a product, but a process.

Is my corporate data protected? What do I do in the event of an attack? We answer these questions before they even arise.

Successful cyberattacks mean encrypted data, halted operations, and loss of reputation. A backup alone is no longer sufficient today. Companies need multi-layered defense.

We analyze your systems, close vulnerabilities, and guide you through the entire process using solutions from one of the strongest security vendors on the market. Proven in use with our customers for years.

  • Preventive Analysis Finding vulnerabilities before attackers do
  • More than backup: modern endpoint protection, firewall & monitoring
  • Clear emergency plan: defined processes for emergency situations
  • Employee awareness: trained employees as the strongest line of defense
Plus: AI-powered defense

Security meets artificial intelligence.

Phishing detection

AI models from our own cluster analyze suspicious emails for phishing patterns, providing a second opinion alongside traditional filters.

Anomaly detection

Unusual network behavior is detected before damage occurs. Monitoring with intelligent analysis.

Awareness Training

We prepare your team to combat social engineering using realistic examples instead of slide marathons.

Praxis

What we deal with on a daily basis.

Four common business scenarios and the corresponding concrete responses.

A phishing email succeeded

The starting point: An employee entered credentials on a fake login page. It remains unclear what the attacker has already done.

Our approach: Immediate measures according to defined procedure: lock account, terminate sessions, check mailbox rules, evaluate access logs, and subsequently close the vulnerability that made it possible.

The backup is running, but no one has verified it.

The starting point: Backups have been running for years. However, whether they can be restored has never been tested.

Our approach: Regular restore tests and verification of all backup jobs. A backup is only considered valid once the restoration has been demonstrably verified.

Old access accounts still exist

The starting point: Former employees, previous service providers, test accounts: access rights that no one can keep track of anymore.

Our approach: Inventory of all accounts and permissions, cleanup, and a process that reliably revokes access upon departure.

The question of NIS2 is on the table

The starting point: A customer or auditor asks for cybersecurity evidence. No one knows if the company is affected.

Our approach: Impact analysis and alignment of existing measures against the requirements, providing a prioritized action plan instead of a file folder.

Ask a question
01Is an antivirus scanner still sufficient today?

No. An antivirus scanner detects known malware, but modern attacks utilize stolen credentials, encrypted channels, and legitimate system tools. This is why Insight-IT relies on multiple layers: endpoint protection, firewall, network monitoring, verified backups, authorization concepts, and trained employees. If one layer fails, the others take over.

02How does a security audit work?

A security audit at Insight-IT begins with an inventory of systems, access points, and data flows. Subsequently, vulnerabilities are technically verified: patch levels, firewall rules, permissions, backup recoverability, and email security. The result is a report with measures prioritized by risk, rather than a list of theoretical findings.

03Are we affected by NIS2?

Approximately 30,000 companies in Germany are affected: essential entities with 250 or more employees or 50 million euros in turnover, and important entities with 50 or more employees or 10 million euros in turnover, each within defined sectors. In addition, suppliers are affected via the supply chain requirements of their customers. Insight-IT is conducting an impact analysis to this end.

04What happens in the event of an actual attack?

A predefined emergency plan is activated: isolate systems, determine the extent of the impact, secure evidence, restart from verified backups, and check reporting obligations. It is crucial that processes and responsibilities are established before an actual emergency occurs. During an ongoing attack, there is no time for fundamental decisions.

05How does AI help with IT security?

Insight-IT GmbH additionally checks suspicious emails for phishing patterns using AI models from its own GPU-Cluster – as a second opinion alongside classic filters. In network monitoring, this analysis helps detect unusual behavior earlier. The models run on proprietary infrastructure in Germany; email content never leaves the premises.

06How often should employees be trained?

At least once a year, preferably as an ongoing process. Short, practical sessions with real examples from within the company are more effective than general slide presentations. Additionally, simulated phishing campaigns are useful to make the learning effect measurable – the evaluation is carried out anonymously.
